Founded by Irma Lazarus and Phyllis Weston in the 1960s as Young Friends of the Arts, Enjoy the Arts/START was reborn in 1982 with a professional staff and board. To celebrate its 20th anniversary in 2002, Enjoy the Arts partnered with more than 50 local arts organizations to create a non-stop 20 day/20 night eclectic arts festival designed to showcase the very best Cincinnati has to offer, which has become the annual kickoff to the fall arts season.

Enjoy the Arts is Greater Cincinnati's passport to the arts, making the arts fun, attractive, and accessible, to students, young professionals and to "Passport" Cardholders, through free tickets and great discounts year-round. Our programs enhance lives and the community by providing inspiration and insight into the human experience for future generations. Enjoy the Arts connects audiences to the arts.
